HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR SPRAY TAN
Your skin is the canvas for your tan! It is important to follow all prep instructions to ensure the best results possible and to avoid tan development issues. The Mona Lisa wasn’t painted over dry, flakey skin;) Here’s our ideal tan prep routine (24+ hours prior to your appointment)
Exfoliate head to toe! Exfoliating buffs away dead skin cells and impurities, revealing fresh, tan ready skin. An exfoliating mitt is best or opt for an oil-free body scrub. Any old spray tan/self tan should be removed.

EXFOLIATING MITT AVAILABLE IN STUDIO $10
Moisturize daily up until the day of your tan (there should be nothing on your skin the day of). Focus especially on any areas that tend to be dry- hands, feet, ankles, knees, elbows.
Shaving/waxing must be done 24+hrs prior to your appointment, not the day of! Shaving/waxing right before can result in a streaky + uneven tan, lighter or no development, strawberry legs (little brown dots in your pores), and skin irritation.
Wash your hair the day before or plan your hair wash schedule around your tan. Your first rinse needs to be water only, no soap.
We do not recommend showering the same day as your appointment, this alters your skins pH and the solution will not to adhere properly causing a lighter, uneven result.
Your tan is your last stop! All other beauty services must be done 24+hrs prior to your tan (mani/pedis, facials, massages etc).
If you were unable to get your nails done prior to your tan, just a polish change is recommended. You do not want to be soaking/scrubbing/rubbing your fresh spray tan!
DAY OF
Wear dark, long, loose clothing + open toe sandals. Do not wear anything tight- no jeans, leggings, bras, sneakers etc. A sweat outfit/ lounge wear is best. Yes, even when it's hot you still want to wear long clothes- this ensures it won't rub off on your seat/seat belt in the car + helps prevent any skin to skin transfer. If it's raining opt for slippers or uggs + bring an umbrella!
*You'll be asked to remove any rings, bracelets, and necklaces + keep them off while you're processing. It's best to remove them prior and keep them somewhere safe at home:)*
Your skin must be free of deodorant, lotion, makeup, perfume etc. We do not recommend showering the same day as your appointment. If you need to - quick rinse, no soap at least 4+ hours before your appointment
